The specimen included a 3 cm long intact skull identified as belonging to the genus plant-eating dinosaur Titanosaurus, which includes the largest dinosaurs ever to exist such as the Patagotitan, which could grow to a length of 37 meters. and weighs 69 tons.
According to liberal paleontologist Terry Manning, co-author of the study, the fossils were excavated in Argentina and subsequently smuggled to the US. Manning was lucky to own this special Titanosaurus dinosaur embryo after an auction in the city of Tucson, Arizona.
