On July 28, the Emmy organizers announced the nomination list, Brad Pitt was named in the category of “Outstanding Guest Actor” with a comedy skit for White House medical adviser Anthony Fauci in April. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston received a nomination for “Best Actress in a Drama” by The Morning Show.

Brad Pitt won the Emmy Award as the producer of The Normal Heart series in 2014. He was also nominated for “Best Guest Actor” when he appeared in the series Friends, starring with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
The Morning Show series marks the return of Jennifer Aniston to the small screen after 15 years since the Friends series ended in 2004. She won an Emmy for this series in 2002. The last time the actress received a nomination Emmy is 2019, appearing on 30 Rock comedy as a guest.
Emmy 2020 is scheduled to take place on September 20, Jimmy Kimmel hosts the show. This year’s awards ceremony was held online, not inviting guests to the theatre to receive statues as usual. The Watchmen series received the most nominations this year (26). Following, in turn, is The Marvelous Mrs Maisel (20), Ozark and Succession (18).
